Daehan Shipbuilding received an order of 115,000 DWT an oil product carrier

On July 6, Daehan Shipbuilding succeeded in receving an order of a 115,000 DWT oil product carrier from the famous Greek shipping company NEDA MARITIME.

This ship are scheduled to be built with enhanced environmental regulations called Tier III(air pollution prevention tertiary regulation) and EEDI(Energy Efficiency Design Index) Phase III from International Maritime Organization(IMO).

At a time of recession of tanker ship, the reason why Daehan Shipbuilding were able to receive an order is that ships built in Daehan Shipbuilding are highly regarded as high-quality ships by Greek shipping companies. Also, It was possible because we had a friendly relationship.

Consequently, Daehan Shipbuilding have achieved 50% of this year's order goals (goal $8.25 billion, performance approximately $4.3 billion), is going to do aggressive order-taking activities to secure stable supplies by 2024.
