DH Shipbuilding Dominates Global Suezmax Crude Oil Carrier Market in September, Secures 8 Vessels in Just 10 Days

DH Shipbuilding announced that it has signed another contract for a Suezmax-class crude oil carrier with a shipping company in Oceania on September 30, following a similar order placed just one day earlier. These back-to-back orders further highlight the company’s growing competitiveness in the global market.
In September alone, a total of 10 Suezmax crude oil carriers were ordered worldwide — and DH Shipbuilding successfully secured 8 of them within just ten days. This underscores the company’s strong position in its core segment.
Industry experts attribute DH Shipbuilding’s success in the Suezmax sector to its proven technical quality, reliable on-time delivery, and advanced eco-friendly shipbuilding capabilities that meet the latest environmental regulations. These strengths continue to convert into real orders, as more global shipowners choose DH Shipbuilding as a trusted partner.
The newly contracted vessel will also be built to comply with the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) latest environmental standards and is scheduled for delivery in October 2027.
A DH Shipbuilding representative said,
“Securing eight vessels in such a short period shows that both long-time and new clients recognize DH Shipbuilding as a leading shipyard for tanker construction. Building on this momentum, we will further strengthen our global presence and solidify our leadership in the mid-size tanker sector.”
