"Hope for the vulnerable class in Haenam"… Daehan Shipbuilding Volunteer Activities to Kimjang
Chung Dae-sung, President of Daehan Shipbuilding, has been contributing to the community for nine years.

Chung Dae-sung, a representative director of Daehan Shipbuilding, employees, union members, and residents participated in making kimchi in person and delivered it to neighbors who are underprivileged in society. This kimchi which made of indigenous farm products such as cabbage and chili powder.
Chung Dae-sung, representative director of the company, said at the donation ceremony, "I hope that kimchi, which is made with employees sincerely, will serve as a heart-warming food for elderly and children living alone who live in our area during the cold winter."
The Kimchi Sharing Event is a representative community contribution event that has been held by Daehan Shipbuilding for nine years since 2012.
About 20 members of the member of labor union and employees who belong to a volunteer group attended the event, along with Chung Dae-sung, the director of the Daehan Shipbuilding.
Every year, Daehan Shipbuilding holds a ceremony to share kimchi and support goods for disadvantaged people and children at social welfare facilities.
Daehan Shipbuilding and residents participated and delivered kimchi which made of other agricultural products such as cabbage and chili peppers to neighbors who were disadvantaged in society.
This year, 20 grandparents raising grandchildren and elderly people living alone were given 10kg of kimchi made of cabbage produced in Haenam-gun.
Along with kimchi, Daehan Shipbuilding prepared newly harvested rice and daily necessities and delivered them to the children's center in Haenam-gun to practice neighborhood love.
Daehan Shipbuilding said, "We plan to continue our social contribution activities to communicate with our neighbors who are underprivileged people and share sustainable happiness through this."
