Daehan Shipbuilding has received three orders from the European shipping company at the beginning of the year

Daehan Shipbuilding announced on January 8 that it has received three orders from three European shipping companies following its 100th launch on January 18.

This time, three ships were ordered, two Aframax-class crude oil tankers and one Aframax-class product carrier.

The ship, which was ordered by Daehan Shipbuilding, is 249.9 meters long, 44 meters wide, and 21.2 meters deep, and will be delivered sequentially in the second half of 2010. One option is included, and three additional ships are expected to be ordered.

In addition, we are discussing the application of Phase 3 of the EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index), which has been self-developed to meet environmental regulations.

Daehan Shipbuilding's Aframax tanker has hull form, which has completed EEDI Phase 3 without LFS (LNG fuel system), is expected to meet the needs of various potential buyers.

Jeon Dae-sung, CEO of Daehan Shipbuilding, said, "The value of ships depends on the grade of the energy efficiency index. We will do our best to receive orders for next-generation eco-friendly and high-value-added ships in line with the global environmental regulations.

Daehan Shipbuilding ranked first in the world in terms of cumulative Aframax-class tanker orders for four consecutive years and was named one of the world's top commodities for two consecutive years.

In recent years, the company has been recognized as a medium-sized ship specialist in both name and reality by delivering ships to European shipping companies.

Daehan Shipbuilding has been optimizing its management environment by securing a stable volume of structures for about two years, including this order.

While the shipbuilding industry, which suffered the worst recession in history due to Corona 19, is in trouble, Daehan Shipbuilding is expected to engage in non-face-to-face online orders. And it expected to breathe life into its affiliated partners and communities.
