Daehan Shipbuilding signs memorandum of understanding with Mokpo University to train regional human resources
Daehan Shipbuilding and Mokpo University have decided to work together to train local talent.
Daehan Shipbuilding announced on July 19 that they signed an agreement with Mokpo University on ‘cooperation to train professional human resources related to student employment.
Eleven people attended the ceremony, including Jung Dae-Sung, CEO of Daehan Shipbuilding, Shin Jae-Beom, president of Mokpo University, and Yeom Jae-sun.
The agreement is aimed at fostering suitable human resources in cooperation with Mokpo University and trying to create an environment in which young people can settle in areas.
According to the agreement, Daehan Shipbuilding and Mokpo University will promote cooperation in shipbuilding design and engineering training ▲ composition of curriculum to train talent who appropriate for a business ▲ priority recruitment of graduates ▲dispatch of corporate and recommenders as curriculum instructors ▲give advance notice about hiring specifications and principles for selection
Park Min-Seo, president of Mokpo University, said, "We will lead the local industry and economic development by encouraging graduates of Mokpo University to find stable employment and settle down in the region."
Jung Dae-sung, CEO of Daehan Shipbuilding, said, "Through this agreement, Mokpo University students will find jobs they want, and Daehan Shipbuilding will hire skilled workers to strengthen corporate competitiveness and regional development."
