Daehan shipbuilding held a naming ceremony for its first shuttle tanker 

Daehan shipbuilding successfully built the first shuttle tanker and held a name ceremony on June 21 since the company was received an order.

The ship was 154,500DWT shuttle tankers, which was built by Daehan shipbuilding in July 2020, from TSAKOS, Greece.

The shuttle tanker is a special purpose vessel that carries crude oil produced by offshore plants from the sea and carries it to the land storage base. In addition to the crude oil storage space, it is a high value added vessel with special systems such as the liquid cargo shipping device located in the player department and the automatic position maintenance device that can maintain a constant position even in the environment where the algae or waves are located.

Daehan shipbuilding carried out the project by all employees, including TFT for one year to reward the trust with the Chakos owner who ordered the first shuttle tanker.

It is important and significant for Daehan shipbuilding because of making a high value -added vessels such as tanker ships (petroleum goods carrier and crude oil carrier).
